Open Mic Night
In an effort to continue to foster the arts in the local area, the first and third Friday night of every month, the microphone will be open in the main meeting space of Rembrandt's. This gives an opportunity for musicians, poets, orators, comedians, writers, and any others to practice their craft and present their art. We ask that those who contribute to the evening would remember that Rembrandt's is a family environment, and so please refrain from using profanity and adult content. For more information or to reserve a time slot, please call Aaron at (208) 841-9588.

OPEN MIC NIGHT RULES

1. Open Mic starts at 7:00pm and will run until 10:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.

2. Artist will be given a maximum of 10 minutes to perform their work. This includes setup and teardown of any equipment brought with them.

3. Sign ups will be available at the coffee house starting at 6:30pm. If you would like to reserve a spot in advance, please contact Aaron at (208) 841-9588 or email at aaron@jcloa.com.

4. If you are late or not around at your scheduled time, do not expect to participate in that evening unless there are available time slots. You will need to be prompt at ready to go (tuned, prepared, etc.) for your set.

5. Respect your fellow performer. Please avoid disrupting others during their presentations. This includes loud talking, distracting, or anything else that would detract from their performance.

6. Please remember that Rembrandt's is a family environment. Refrain from using profanity, adult content, or "Rated-R" materials. Inappropriate performances will be cut short without warning and noted for future reference.

7. The manager of the evening is in charge of the open mic night. If special rules or adjustments need to be made, this person is in complete control.

8. Please keep sound levels at an appropriate level. Hearing loss is a bad thing!

9. Cheer for your fellow artists. You may not like what they just did, but support them anyway!

10. Have a great time and bring friends. Rembrandt's goal is to foster community and an environment of hospitality, so we hope everyone has tons of fun!
