REMBRANDTS COFFEE HOUSE

Rembrandts Coffee House was launched in November of 2004 . Rembrandts Coffee House was established with three primary core beliefs that underpin our work.

1. To create an environment of community, belonging and hospitality so as to deepen the lives of everyone we meet and serve.

2. To create good by using capitalism. Rembrandts Coffee House helps support The Landing Community Center and other neighborhood programs by donating money, time and resources to promote positive social change within our neighborhood and throughout the world.

3. We are committed to purchasing only “Fair Trade” coffees from around the world. Through Fair Trade, farmers are guaranteed a fair price for their product, safe working conditions, adequate housing, sustainable farming practices, ongoing education for children and other socially responsible programs for coffee growing communities. We are dedicated to building long-term trade partnerships with small farmers that foster a more just economic system, support human rights and support responsible stewardship of the earth.

The Landing Community Center is a 501C3, non-profit organization. The mission of The Landing Community Center is to come along side of persons of all ages, regardless of ethnicity, religious, or economic diversity, so as to enrich the quality of the physical, mental, spiritual and social life of each individual and family in our community.

The Landing Community Center resides in two local campuses in the community of Eagle Idaho. The main campus is located at 175 East Mission Drive, across the street from Lower Eagle Elementary School. This facility houses the business offices, the renowned Teen Center, and Youth Center. A vocational school and expanded youth programs are in the works for this facility. The Landing Community Center: Art Institute is housed in the old Eagle Firehouse. It was remodeled and consists of two buildings totaling 7000 square feet. It shares this facility with the Eagle Performing Arts Center.

The Landing Community Center was presented with the "2005 Idaho's Brightest Stars Award". The First Lady Patricia Kempthorne, Governor Dirk Kempthorne and The Governeror's Coordinating Council for Families and Children presented the award at the State Capitol building on February 10, 2005. They have also received endorsement from the Eagle Mayor’s Office, Ada County Sheriff’s Office, and numerous local businesses and organizations.

The Landing Community Center is a tax-exempt private operating foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to The Landing Foundation are tax deductible.

Supporters are able to designate the program to which they would like their donation applied.
